Masuria without packing your bags. 3 ready-made micro-trips that start right at Pratum's doorstep

True luxury isn’t just about exclusive interiors and high-quality materials. It’s about choice and time savings. In today’s world, every minute is precious, so the greatest value is the opportunity to experience adventure without complicated logistics.

Imagine not having to plan your weekend a week in advance, pack large suitcases, or spend hours in the car. With an apartment in Pratum, a great adventure begins right where your terrace ends.

We present three ready-made micro-excursion scenarios that will allow you to “recharge your batteries” without leaving Masuria.

1. Bicycle rally to Mrągowo: Following the trail of festival energy

Mrągowo is a Masurian town famous for its amphitheater on Lake Czos and its unique atmosphere. The cycling route from Pratum is perfect for an active weekend.

The trail follows the Masurian Cycling Loop, which passes directly by Pratum. The route is approximately 30 km long and offers plenty of elevation gain.

Start towards Prawdowo and continue through the hilly terrain towards Stare Sady. Just before the village, you can admire beautiful views of Lake Tałty, where you’ll notice heavy boat traffic. A short break is recommended at the picturesque beach in Stare Sady.

After passing Jora Mała, head towards Użranek, one of the highest towns in Mrągowo County. The route here follows a paved road, and the terrain allows you to see the town of Ryn to the north.

After passing Użranek, head towards Kosewo. The route here leads down through lush forests. From the top, you can admire Lake Juksty, which is distinguished by its clear water. You can also encounter the habitat of the European pond turtle. In Kosewo, it’s worth stopping at the beach at Lake Probarskie, which has equally clear water. You should also consider visiting one of the restaurants.

The route continues along National Road No. 16 through Nowy Probark until you reach the turnoff towards Miejski Las. Along the way, you’ll experience the high altitude and admire beautiful views of Lake Czos and the Four Winds Mountain.

It is in this picturesque place that we are implementing our other investment – Miejski Las Apartments in Mrągowo.

Once you reach Mrągowo, it’s worth taking a stroll along the charming promenade along Lake Czos, stopping for ice cream, or grabbing lunch at one of the local restaurants. The pier and town beach are also interesting. If your trip is on a summer weekend, you can culminate in an evening concert at the famous amphitheater.
Finally, return to your apartment at sunset, feeling pleasantly tired. The private terrace in Pratum is the perfect place to recharge after a busy day with a glass of wine.

2. Forest trip to Ruciane-Nida: In the heart of the Puszcza Piska

If you prefer complete immersion in greenery over the bustle of town, heading south and heading to Ruciane-Nida is an absolute must-do. The route is approximately 22 km long.

The route leads through the town of Iznota, where you cross the Krutynia River, just before it flows into Lake Bełdany. This is a truly picturesque area, rich in lush forests and beautiful lakes.

The next town on the route is Wygryny, home to the yacht ports on Lake Bełdany.

From here, it’s not far to Ruciane-Nida itself, where you can visit one of the numerous restaurants or stroll along the lakeside promenade.

You can also take a boat cruise towards Mikołajki, which will certainly make your return trip more enjoyable.

Another option is to return through Ukta, which is the starting point for many kayaking trips on the Krutynia River.

3. Krutynia River Rafting: A classic kayaking experience in Masuria at your fingertips

The Krutynia River is considered one of the most beautiful kayaking routes in all of Europe. Staying in Pratum, you don’t need to organize large rental trips – you’re right next to this natural wonder.

The best route to start with is the one starting before the village of Krutyń and ending in Ukta. It’s also worth trying other routes, such as from Ukta to Iznota, which leads through shallow lakes.

The Krutynia is a shallow, exceptionally clean, and calm river, making the kayaking 100% safe and relaxing – also ideal for families with children.

You’ll pass under a green tunnel of trees, and in the crystal-clear water, you’ll see rocky bottoms and fish. The river meanders lazily through Masurian meadows and forests. Along the way, you can stop at one of the riverside camps for a delicious local meal.

After the kayaking and the short return to Pratum, you can swap to a comfortable kayak. A hot, relaxing shower in the modern bathroom and an evening of relaxation in the air-conditioned apartment are the perfect way to end the day.
